Isilay MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Ankara University faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and embarked on a PhD in Biochemistry in 2017.  I am set to complete my PhD in December 2024.
Alongside my doctoral studies, I joined the research and development department of an ELISA kits producer, working on a monoclonal antibodies project related to my PhD. The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a shift in my career, leading me to the meat production and export sector In various countries, ending up in England as an Official Veterinarian.

I transitioned to small animal practice in 2022, and in August 2024, I joined Richmond House. My interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, the management side of veterinary practice, and keeping up with the latest updates in the veterinary sector.
I am still active as an Official Veterinarian, can issue Animal Health Certificates for pets traveling outside the UK, this is something I will be brining to the practice.

I am passionate about veterinary medicine in all its aspects, from animal welfare, treating and saving animals to safeguarding human health through the One Health approach. In my personal life, I share my home with my cat, Lulu, who brings joy and companionship to my busy days.
